A convenient and simple application for observing space weather. It shows current geomagnetic and solar flare data, plus three-day and twenty-seven-day geomagnetic storm forecasts.

All four graphs are available as widgets, and there is also a widget displaying the current geomagnetic index on a scale from 0 to 9. The graphs are based on data received from the Space Weather Prediction Center of the United States National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.

Additionally, four similar widgets from the “Geomagnetic Storms TE” application are available, which receive data from the tesis.lebedev.ru site as an image.

What you get

Planetary K-index and solar flare activity, refreshed straight from NOAA SWPC.
Forecasts
Three-day and twenty-seven-day geomagnetic storm outlooks, charted the same way as the history.

Every graph works as a home screen widget, plus a compact 0–9 index dial.
